Trump's Family Member Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

This young athlete boasts substantial online audience

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile supporters when she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He suggested me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."

Kai will face several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically among the next generation.

The young star has substantial online presence and recently launched her own fashion and living label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
