'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Information After Alpine Blaze
The relatives of young people lost after a devastating fire at a establishment in a Swiss alpine town are enduring an excruciating period of uncertainty for confirmed information and pleading for any details about their loved ones online.
The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified images depict the ceiling catching alight as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
Authorities have indicated that it could take considerable time to formally name the victims of the fire, which killed four dozen individuals and injured another over a hundred. A spokesperson noted on Friday that the majority of the those hurt have been accounted for, with the process continuing to name the other six.

The national sporting body has said that he is deceased, without mentioning the tragedy, paying tribute to a "young athlete who represented passion and authentic values."
His parent, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An representative has indicated that a formal confirmation of his death is not yet.
Further Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise among the missing. His mother explained that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and ended up at the bar.
"A close friend informed me they ran away after the fire erupted and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she explained, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.
